Safe towing of your horse trailer is absolutely essential for the well-being of you, your horse(s) and other road users.
Take into account the following checklist every time you tow your horse trailer to minimize safety risks:
- After securely loading your horse(s), make all the final checks before you set-off. Ensure that the stalls are secure, all the doors are closed and there are no obstructions or anything left in the trailer that could cause injury. Test the hitching system, brakes and lights before you drive away.
- Make sure that you do not exceed the maximum carrying weight for safe towing of the horse trailer. Check the trailer specifications. The towing weight should be clearly displayed on the trailer. Remember that the towing vehicle should always be substantially heavier than the trailer for stability. If you exceed the weight restriction or even get close to it, there is a greater risk that you will lose control in transit.
- Plan your trip carefully. Try to find out about any areas of congestion or road closures before you set-off. Always have an alternative route in mind.
- Drive smoothly and with care. Imagine you have a hot mug of tea on the dashboard! You do not want to spill it, so take your time at corners and junctions. Start and stop slowly. Look ahead for any possible problems.
- If you are traveling long distance, schedule regular breaks. Use this time to check your horse(s) and that everything is fine with the trailer.
- Have an emergency plan if your towing vehicle or horse trailer breaks down. Check that your breakdown insurance cover includes your horse trailer.
- Ensure that you have a well-stocked first aid kit and emergency supplies on board at all times.
- Carry an emergency breakdown kit. This might contain items such as a jack, jump-leads, WD-40, a good flashlight, safety cones in case you break down, electrical duct tape, spare tire and tire-changing tools.
Your cargo is precious so always make thorough checks each time you plan a journey and drive safely!

Golf has become a much more eclectic sport than it has previously been thought as. Despite popular belief, lots of women love the sport of golf. We all know that men enjoy the relaxation and leisurely pace that comes with a good game of golf among friends, and let me tell you, so do women! I mean let’s think about this: in addition to being leisurely, golfing provides women with one of their major enjoyments: socializing! Since golf can be done as a solo sport or with a group, many women flock to the sport as a chance to get physical exercise, enjoy some sunshine and fresh air, and meet with their closest friends and catch up on what’s going on with one another.
It’s also very well known that women love to be stylish and fashionable. Golf is no longer a sport for the retired crowd. Younger and younger women are becoming involved with this fun outdoor activity, and so many manufacturers are paying attention, and creating lines of clothing and womans golf apparel just for them!
Womans golf shirts are a very popular choice for purchasing. These shirts closely resemble mens golf shirts, but there are a few differences. First and foremost, the shirt is designed for a woman to wear, so the making of it and cut of the material, seams, etc. take into account a woman’s bust and hips. Also, the shirt may be a bit longer, and most of these golf shirts will also hug the waist with a nice comfortable taper. Like the mens shirts, womans golf shirts come in a variety of colors (yes ladies, you can buy them in pink!), materials, stripes, polka-dots, plaids and solids, and a few different styles. Most of the shirts available feature sun protection as well.
Shoe manufacturers are catering to the preferences of woman golfers, and today’s lineup of womans golf shoes proves that statement to be true! Puma, adidas, Nike and many other manufacturers of shoes and golf shoes are creating lines just for women. Womans golf shoes are designed with comfort and support in mind, but style hasn’t been forgotten! They make womens Golf shirts to match! With colors like black, pink and baby blue, woman golfers will be able to match their shoes to their outfits.
Why go grab another cup of coffee? Mix it up a bit and try something new. You may find as I have that Golf is actually a quite fun and satisfying pass time. Not only is it fun, but the whole ritual of Golfing from what you are going to wear to what bag your precious set of clubs will go in. It is physical - but not overwhelming. Women and men alike need their daily dose of sunshine to boost that mood and feeling the grass beneath your feet, this helps remind us of the constant life happening all around us, all the time.
Kimberly Green is finding that there may be a place for her on the putting green after all with her new womens golf shoes. When there is shopping to be done, you can count her in! and yes, she bought a womens golf shirt to match.

Equine evolution was characterized by a reduction in the number of toes, from five per foot, to three per foot, to only one toe per foot . Austria is known worldwide for its Lipizzaner horses, used for dressage and high school work in the famous Spanish Riding School in Vienna. Horses are oriented to be ridden or driven in a mass of different sporting events and competitions.
A number of equine breeds are used as draft horses with the variation being largely geographic. Draft horses are recognizable by their tall stature and extremely muscular build. Additionally, they are general for crossing to lighter breeds, especially the Thoroughbred, to create a good-minded sport equine for amateurs. Draught horses are versatile breeds used today for a multitude of purposes, including draft equine showing, farming, and for pleasure, but all share the traits of strength, stamina, health, longevity, patience and a docile temperament which made them indispensable to generations of pre-industrial farmers.
They tend to have short backs with very powerful hindquarters, again best suited for the purpose of pulling. They are also by and large used for cross-breeding, especially to breeds such as the Thoroughbred. These Shire horses are used to pull a Wadworth Brewery dray delivering beer to pubs in the Devizes area of Wiltshire, England. Today, draft horses are again valued as riding horses thanks to their temperament and stamina. The draught equine declined in economic importance following the end of the Second World War, and in the latter half of the twentieth century even the most well-known of the heavy breeds were on the verge of disappearing.
The vast majority of horses used in harness racing are of yet another breed, the Standardbred. They are used in carriage driving activities, pulling coaches, traditional and modern carriages, marathon vehicles, carts and gigs etc.

As summer comes, the subject of natural hair removal becomes more and more talked about: TV shows, magazines for men and for women, advertisements, all of these try to advise people how to use products that can help them enhance the beauty of their body. Between natural hair removal and going to a clinic there’s a very natural difference of money, comfort and effectiveness, and let’s not forget the health and safety measures. Until years ago, men were those who shaved and had cuts all over and women rarely if never took care of their skin. However, one is allowed to show more today, without repercussions and with a minimum effort in regard with natural hair removal in one’s own cozy and snug home.
You’re a Natural!
There are many advantages in choosing natural hair removal as a part of your grooming schedule and the multitude of them represent as many reasons to stay at home in your bath, instead of driving to the expensive spa you really can’t afford. The industry has long since understood that, and natural hair removal products are given full attention: they have been made safe and with cooling or calming effects, let aside the achieving of a hairless skin. Depilatory creams and waxes for example can be enriched with natural extracts of chamomile, tee-tree, lemon, extracts of ginseng, ginger, apple, vanilla, all of these being in the form of natural essences that help the skin to reach a glistening and exfoliated state. The natural hair removal products render after shave and calming lotions useless, since they alone are anti-septic and complication-free.
Another advantage, along with the fact that it removes safely the unwanted hair off your skin with natural cooling extracts, is that the root is eventually weakened, and the process of regrowth is slowed down. They achieve significantly better results, better than the ones razors get you, since the latter option even makes the root more powerful and determines it to give birth to a darker and thicker follicle. By using natural hair removal line of products, you can be confident that your legs, for instance, will stay smooth for as long as two months of blissful laziness
Give me some Sugar, Sugar!
To be more specific, natural hair removal methods are to be found in your refrigerator and cupboards: it’s like making a pie, where you need certain amounts of ingredients. In this worldwide used recipe, you need a cup of sugar, the juice squeezed from half a lemon, about fifty grams of honey-or a quarter of cup, some soothing oils such as tea tree, and last but not least, cornstarch that represents the rigid ingredient of the home-made cream. After you have homogenized all of these in a bowl without the cornstarch, heat it in the microwave for two or three minutes, mix again, and leave it for a little while to cool off. When applying it on your legs or any other place you want natural hair removal, just sprinkle abundantly the cornstarch along with the cream and make sure the area is squeaky clean and dry. From this point on, proceed as if it were a normal depilatory wax, using a strip of cloth, to depilate, and warm water to clean the area.

Guys (and maybe ladies too), I have some good news about shaving. You have probably experienced some of the hassles and problems of this chore and are familiar with its inherent potential for being very annoying.
You may be frustrated with razor burn and dry skin after struggling with your daily shaving routine. You can bet I tried all kinds of different razors, shaving cream and even some aftershaves to see what I could do about this problem.
You want to know what I found after a lot of experimenting and trying different things? You probably have a neat handy little item that is common household fare and may be found in your kitchen. It’s Olive Oil. You got it, olive oil!
The benefits to using olive oil for shaving are huge. It is such a natural lubricant that the right kind of razor will slide right across your face giving you smooth and soft skin and still getting the job of cutting the growth from your face. And the best part is that your skin will actually start to look younger after using olive oil to shave with over the long term.
Therefore, do not forget to apply some olive oil to your forehead when you shave too. The reason is that the rest of your face will become younger looking and you want your forehead to keep up. In retrospect, I remember reading about a famous Hollywood actress that mentioned that olive oil was her secret to having great skin.
You can bet that others are using olive oil to shave with too. I did a search right before deciding to share this information with you and sure enough there are other people out there that shave with olive oil.
One nice thing about it is that you don’t have to use high quality olive oil. You can buy the inexpensive low grade olive oil that doesn’t taste very good from your local supermarket to shave with. A bottle will last a really long time. You can kiss your shaving cream goodbye. You can also leave out aftershave if you so choose. Your skin should feel great without it.
Now, let’s talk about that razor of yours. Here is what I have found out about razors and am willing to share with you. Even though I use the great lubricant properties of olive oil to shave with, I still have found a few issues that using the right kind of razor can help with.
If your experience is similar to mine, you may have found that it is difficult to shave in the grooves of your neck and face, particularly under the jaw bone with typical razors. Even with olive oil you can still easily cut your face if you make the wrong movement. You might find that that Gillette’s Mach 3 and olive oil are the perfect combination.
The Mach 3 has a nice swivel head with a great lubricating strip. This allows for the flexibility to really get into the nooks and crannies when used in combination with the olive oil. You will be able to get in there with a lot less fear of cutting yourself. It’s not impossible, but the Mach 3 does make it a lot harder to cut the skin of your face.
You may be using another brand of razor with a lubricating a strip. So far, in my opinion, none have come close to the Mach 3 for safety and comfort. I do sometimes use a stiffer blade to make the vertical strokes because it can be really effective. But, when it comes time to dig into those nooks and crannies, I like to break out the Mach 3.
No, I don’t work for Gillette and I am in no way associated with them. The reason I use a stiffer blade for the vertical strokes is because its effective and also less expensive. The Mach 3 blades are a bit on the expensive side, so you can save a little bit by just reserving them for the nooks and crannies. With the use of olive oil, you might be able to get a longer usage period out of a blade before needing to dispose of it.
For ladies, I suggest using a sparing amount of olive oil. The reason is that you will be covering a much larger area and too much olive oil can get a little messy. For us guys, we can probably enjoy the luxury of using more because it is easier to wash from the face.
I wish you the best of luck with your next shaving experience.

Many people ask this question: is men’s skin care different from women’s? Although the steps involved are more or less the same, many factors have to be considered that make the overall skin care for men slightly different from that of women’s. This article will give tips on skin care for men.
There are many skin conditions that are equally common in both genders, but some diseases are more common in men and they should be prevented by following a proper skin care routine. This routine involves using products especially made for men by keeping in view their skin texture and problems that may arise.
Some skin care systems are available on the market which can be used by men as well as women. These systems include moisturizers, toners, cleansers and body lotion for proper skin health. It’s a misconception that men do not require proper cleansing and moisturizing. All these steps are required in men’s skin care in order to prevent conditions like acne, wrinkles, dry patches, white spots and blemishes.
The first step in men’s skin care is to properly wash the face to remove the previous day’s dirt and oil. People who do not wash their face often end up with pimples and blemishes on their face. You can use a good soap-free and oil-free face wash for this purpose.
The best time to shave in order to avoid cuts and rashes is right after you have washed your face. Always choose a shaving cream which does not cause any redness or itching. There are shaving creams available on the market made from natural and pure substances. Try to find these products and use them.
An after-shave lotion or toner is also required in men’s skin care. This helps to make the skin smoother and even. It is advisable to use products that do not contain alcohols, fragrances and preservatives. This is because these substances are not good for skin health, especially when the pores are open. They may cause severe itching and a rash.
Similarly, you should also do a little research on the ingredients of a particular product before using it. If you don’t pay attention you may end up wasting a lot of money on ineffective skin care products. The best thing is to read user reviews about a particular product before buying it.
So, you see men’s skin care involves slightly different steps than that of women’s. If you are a man wanting to have a perfect complexion and a problem-free skin, you should follow these steps carefully and regularly.

1. MOST OF YOU CHIEFLY NEED ENCOURAGEMENT TO TRY. Go out and try to meet and pick up single women at all of the varied places where men and women come together. Most men who are unsuccessful in love and romance chiefly need ego-bolstering and suggestions of places to look.
2. DO NOT OVERLOOK ANY CHANNEL FOR MEETING AND PICKING UP WOMEN. Until you find what you want and are satisfied, you must use every possible and conceivable channel for meeting women.
3. EVERY DATE - EVERY WOMAN - CAN HELP YOU DEVELOP MORE SKILL AND POLISH. Every woman you meet and go out with can richly add to your experience and self-development if you look upon it in this way. Don’t bury yourself in a movie on the first date. Talk to her about herself, draw out all her interests, desires, crucial life experiences. Share your own experiences with her. From each woman you can learn to speak more fluently, with greater ease; you can learn more about the psychology of women; you can develop increasing skill in making her like you and in enjoying your company.
4. JUDICIOUSLY MIX TENDERNESS. According to some psychologists, the need for expressing and receiving tenderness is even more frustrated and inhibited than the sex drive. Every woman needs and appreciates tenderness, and you need to express and receive it. Practice it. You will also find that the woman who wants a strong, dominating man responds best to a judicious counter-point of tenderness and almost brutal domination.
5. YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE A WOMAN TO PRACTICE GOOD GROOMING, AND YOU SHOULD REGARD ANY SHAME OR EMBARRASSMENT ASSOCIATED WITH IT AS “SHEER IDIOCY!” Don’t be afraid of diminishing your masculinity by making yourself more physically attractive to single women through good grooming. Styled hair, a close clean shave before you go out, aftershave cologne, deodorant, frequent bathing, daily change of underclothing, socks, shirts, use of an effective hair dressing to keep your hair combed the way you want it to look…all these things generally make almost any man more physically desirable to the opposite sex. Only a rigid and false interpretation of the male and female role make many males guilty about such fastidiousness.
6. STRIVE TO DEVELOP AND LEARN TO PROJECT A QUALITY OF INTENSE FEELING. A passionate interest in life and people, a quality of “excitement: conveyed by one’s enthusiasm and intense involvement with life…a rich savoring of the present moment.

titleNewborn Allergies/titlepOne of the most scary thoughts a parent can think of, is what if their newborn infant has an allergy? Well, while many children do tend to be allergic to one thing or another, there is always ways to help ease the thoughts in your mind. One of the things to remember is that a child is usually only considered a newborn from birth to four weeks of age; the characteristics that are often associated with newborn infants is their ability to lift their heads only for a short period of time. While being only able to turn toward a familiar sound or voice, and moving their heads from side to side. It is common for a parent to wonder, about the signs of an allergy in an infant that doesnt display much capability of communication./ppSome of the most common types of allergies for children to have, are food allergies. For this reason, when you go to your childs well-child visits; it is important for you to communicate your concerns about allergic reactions. Generally speaking, most pediatricians or child nutritionists will warn parents to try solid foods only after six months of age. However, some may advise a longer time period before trying any new foods. Once you have started your child on new solids, it is important to only give them a small amount at first; a tablespoon or so once every two to three days, and if your child isnt acting abnormal or showing any signs of discomfort or pain; along with not having any rashes or swollen glands or throat, it is probably safe to continue feeding your child that food. You should only try new foods one every week; steering clear of mixes or blends of different foods./ppMost doctors will advise you to stay away from any kind of fish or berries for the first year of your childs life, as many people are allergic to strawberries; and it is possible for your child to form an allergy if fed them too early. Some other items that your doctor or nutritionist may warn against until the second year of his or her life; is any kind of nuts (particularly peanuts) and shellfish. After your child has reached two years of age, you should communicate with your doctor if you intend to try nuts or shellfish; this will enable them to warn you of any signs of a possible allergic reaction IE: hives, swelling throat; and signs of pain or discomfort./ppShopping for baby apparel and toddler shirts? titleCopyrighting Tips - How to Reach Your Customer/titlepThe art of copyrighting has existed probably long before it was named copyrighting. copyrighting is a different writing skill that aims at promoting or selling a product or service in a specific media type - radio, television, print or virtual. Good copyrighting will be successful in conveying specific messages:br- To purchase a product or service like water filters, mobile phones, apparel and loyalty cards at shopping malls.br- To discourage the reader from doing a specific activity. This works for anti-smoking and No Drinking And Driving campaigns.br- To promote positive or religious values and beliefs.br- To start a movement or petition, or recruitment. copyrighting with this objective is usually limited to governmental or semi-governmental reasons like armed forces and public service recruitment./ppTo successfully write a convincing copy, read on to find some useful copyrighting tips./ppThe first copyrighting tip anyone will tell you is also one of the most important thing - information. You must know sufficiently well the product, service or belief you are writing about otherwise your piece will lack conviction. Do the necessary research, find out any background information or real life experience about the material you are writing about. The last thing you want to encounter is a complaint or lawsuit that your information is all wrong, wrong, wrong./ppLanguage is very important when copyrighting. You should always target to use the language of your intended reader or audience. When writing to parents of young children to expound on the goodness of childrens vitamins, for example, put yourself in their shoes - juggling a job or jobs and chasing after little ones while being overly concerned about their future, safety and education. When copyrighting, you should literally speak their language and live their lives - use short simple sentences as they are easier to digest by parents who are too busy to sit and read a whole mouthful of words. If you wish to stress a point, point form phrases may even be good enough to bring the truth home./ppAlso aim to use the shortest and easiest words in writing the text. Part of the copyrighting objective is to reach your audience which means they have to understand the contents of your copy upon 1st reading. If anyone has to read your copy over and over again before they get your point, you know you have been too complicated with the text. An easy reminder to keep doing this is to tell yourself that they have a maximum of 2 minutes to read and understand the total content of your copy./ppKeeping things simple is probably one of the best copyrighting tips anyone can ever tell you. Aside from keeping your words simple, use uncomplicated sentences. Sentences that are as short as possible work the best - not only do they bring out your points succinctly, they also ensure your copy looks short, which is more appealing than a long, 2-page article that immediately brings to mind BORING. Keeping your sentences short also helps you avoid being clever and over-intelligent. Just keep telling yourself that there is no point being the only intelligent one in the room - you will be the only one who can understand what you are trying to say./ppFocusing on your target customers needs is an important part of getting the copy right. If you forget their needs and how your product or service benefits them, your copy will not only lack conviction, it will sound flat and lifeless. The best way to write a convincing piece is to picture your target audience in your mind. Imagine them while you write your text and go through every aspect of their lives - the kind of family background they come from (as in middle class, upper class, working class, etc), the types of jobs they probably have, even down to details like the cars they drive or the mobile phone they carry. Visualizing your target is one of the best copyrighting tips ever bestowed on anyone as it is also the most successful. With an accurate picture in your head about the kind of person you are writing to, you will find that it is easier to tailor your copy to fit their lives and needs./ppFinally, before you send it off to the printers, go through your copy one last time, and again and again. Test it out on your friends, acquaintances, colleagues, neighbors, in fact, anyone close enough who fits your target audience profile. Chances are, if it works on them, it will work on your targeted customer./ppChris Braccus is a great copyrighter and stresses on the importance of writing just the correct elements in order to capture the attention of short span readers.
